A letter from Ramban to his son   ランバンから息子への手紙

שְׁמַע בְּנִי מוּסַר אָבִיךָ, וְאַל תִּטֹּשׁ תּוֹרַת אִמֶּךָ" (משלי א ח).

My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother   両親の忠告に従いなさい。 そうすれば、あとになって

תִּתְנַהֵג תָּמִיד לְדַבֵּר כָּל דְּבָרֶיךָ בְּנַחַת, לְכָל אָדָם וּבְכָל עֵת, וּבַזֶּה תִּנָּצֵל מִן הַכַּעַס, שֶׁהִיא מִדָּה רָעָה לְהַחְטִיא בְּנֵי אָדָם. :

Always speak all your words calmly, to every person and at any time, and thereby you will be saved from the anger which is a bad measure that causes people to sin.   常にすべての人に、いつでも静かに、すべての言葉を話してください。そうすれば、あなたは怒りから救われるでしょう。

וְכֵן אָמְרוּ רַבּוֹתֵינוּ ז"ל (נדרים כב ע"א):

so said our sages of blessed memory:   そう祝福された記憶の私達の賢人は言った： Sō shukufuku sa reta kioku no watashitachi no kenjin wa itta:

כָּל הַכּוֹעֵס – כָּל מִינֵי גֵיהִנּוֹם שׁוֹלְטִים בּוֹ, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר(קהלת יא י):

All who are angry, all kinds of hell rule him, as it says:

それが言うように、怒っているすべての人、あらゆる種類の地獄が彼を支配します： Sore ga iu yō ni, ikatteiru subete no hito, arayuru shurui no jigoku ga kare o shihai shimasu:

"וְהָסֵר כַּעַס מִלִּבֶּךָ, וְהַעֲבֵר רָעָה מִבְּשָׂרֶךָ". וְאֵין "רָעָה" אֶלָּא גֵיהִנּוֹם, שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר (משלי טז ד): "וְגַם רָשָׁע לְיוֹם רָעָה".

"Remove your anger from your heart, and pass evil from your flesh." And there is no "evil" but Hell, as is said (Proverbs 16: 4): "Even a wicked to the day of evil."

「あなたの心からあなたの怒りを取り除き、そしてあなたの肉から悪を渡しなさい」。 （箴言16：4）言われているように、「悪」以外に「悪」はない。 `Anata no kokoro kara anata no ikari o torinozoki, soshite anata no niku kara aku o watashi nasai'. (Shingen 16: 4) Iwa rete iru yō ni,`aku' igai ni `aku' wanai.
